With over a century of experience, TAXA 4x35 stands as Denmark's largest taxi company. It is a cooperative of 14 taxi companies, operating more than 800 taxis that primarily serve customers in the greater Copenhagen area.
We replaced TAXA 4x35's existing app with a comprehensive, user-friendly solution for Android and iOS, offering fixed fares or meter rates, saved addresses, and live tracking of taxis. The modernized app significantly improved the user experience, increased digital bookings to 81%, and made the TAXA 4x35 app Denmark's largest taxi app – a crucial factor for the company's digital growth.
The situation
In 2016, TAXA 4x35 recognized that their existing app did not meet the company’s high standards for service and quality. To ensure a seamless customer experience, they decided to rebuild the app and optimize the user experience to align with their premium offline services. Alongside this effort, TAXA 4x35 set ambitious goals to increase app bookings from 11% to 25% and digital bookings overall from 64% to 80% by 2018—a vision employees of Hyperbolic was engaged to help achieve.
Solution
The solution became an updated Android and iOS app, where users could order taxis at either a fixed price or traditional taxi meter rates. Features such as favorite addresses, saved payment methods, and live tracking of taxis enhanced convenience and provided a smoother user experience.
